I made it one of my goals to participate in at least one challenge and since I am currently on a MASSIVE book hangover and am having problems getting into a new book... this seems like a good enough time. This one also seemed fun! We were given a list of words we had to find and those words had to come out of a book title. Then those words get plugged into a story. So here's my list:
Characters Name: Alice In Zombieland by Gena Showalter
Adjective 1: Fearless by Brigid Kemmerer
Adjective 2: Something Strange and Deadly by Susan Dennard
Item: Rock Bottom by Jade C. Jameson
Occupation: Hell Transporter by Cyndi Tefft
Act of Violence: Smash Into You by Shelly Crane
Adjective 3: All the Pretty Lies by M. Leighton
Noun 1: Time Between Us by Tamara Ireland Stone
Noun 2: Shark Bait by Jenn Cooksey
Now for the story. You're not supposed to read this until after you've picked your words, sothis should be interesting.
I just read the greatest book!
This guy Alice ends up in the middle of a/an Fearless conspiracy. Turns out his/her ancestors were pirates, and he/she might be the key to finding the Strange Rock. It’s a mythic artifact that disappeared centuries ago, and now a shadowy group of Transporters are looking for it. No one knows what uncovering it might do, but these guys are willing to Smash for it.
I won’t say anything else. But believe me, if you like Pretty stories with Time and Bait, you have to read this one.
Lol, so it's definitely... interesting and definitely not my funniest Mad Lib, but its still cute. If you're signed up for Bout of Books you should check out this challenge its fun. Its over at Cheap Thrills. Check it out: http://cheapthrillsbookblog.wordpress.com/2014/01/06/bout-of-books-9-0-mad-libs-challenge/
